Sonia has been a teacher of Health and Human Development since 1999. Teaching in both secondary Schools and at TAFE she has taught a wide range of students from a variety of different backgrounds and abilities. She is an author of current VCE Health & Human Development textbooks: A Global Perspective on Health and Human Development Unit 3 & 4, Cambridge University Press; and An Australian Perspective on Health and Human Development Unit 1 & 2, Cambridge University Press.
Sonia was involved in the development of the current course and has had experience as an exam assessor for the VCAA from 2000-2007. She conducts a number of sessions through Cambridge and the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education & Recreation (ACHPER) to assist other teachers with planning assessments and course work for Units 1-4 Health & Human Development. Sonia has presented revision sessions for Access Education for 7 years.
