Trained Secondary Teacher’s Certificate (Domestic Arts), Diploma of Domestic Arts (Rusden)

Currently VCE Teacher of Food and Technology and Health and Human Development at Shelford Girls’ Grammar, Head of the Health and PE Learning area and Author of a number of school text books.

Glenis has taught Food and Technology since its inception at both St Michael’s Grammar School and Shelford Girls’ Grammar. She is co-author of Food Solutions Units 1 & 2 and Food Solutions Units 3 & 4, as well as co-author of Checkpoints Food and Technology, an examination revision guide and the Quality Assessment Tasks (QATs). She has had extensive experience over the last 7 years (2002 to 2008) as a VCAA Food and Technology examination assessor, and reviewer for the Food and Technology School Assessed Task. She was a member of the Examination Setting Panel in 2005. In 2008 Glenis co-authored a new VELS Edition of Food by Design – for food studies in years 7-10. She is a Life member of Home Economics Victoria and a member of the Home Economics Institute (Victoria) Committee.
