Chemistry Educator.
Elissa has over 10 years experience as an educator having taught Chemistry, Biology and Junior Science in Victorian schools. She has extensive experience as a VCAA Chemistry examination assessor from 2003 to the present and was involved in the delivery of professional development workshops to Chemistry teachers on the current study design. Elissa is author of the Unit 1/2 Heinemann Chemistry 1 Student Workbook and writes Unit 3/4 trial examinations. She is currently a member of the Chemistry Education Association (CEA) management committee. Elissa has a particular interest in the way students develop understanding of content and how they can be assisted in making links between different areas of work.
