This lecture focuses on preparing students for both Exam 1 and Exam 2 for General Mathematics. The lecturer will cover content from each of the four areas of study: Statistics, Recursion and Financial Modelling, Matrices, and Networks and Decision Mathematics. A large range of Exam-style questions will be showcased throughout the lecture to highlight both typical and unusual problems. Suggested strategies for best use of preparation time before the Exam, how to use reading time effectively and how one can maximise their marks during the Exam will be discussed. Comprehensive summary notes are provided for all attendees.
Overall, students will be given detailed, practical strategies to confidently enhance their writing skills and therefore maximise their potential Food Studies exam performance, and therefore enhancing both their critically-important General Maths Study Score and ATAR score.
