Presented by: Carmel Byrne-Huggard BA Hons, Dip Ed, is an experienced VCE Literature teacher and a current and long term VCAA exam assessor.

This lecture will explore both sections of the exam in detail, making expansive references to many of the current texts on the 2022 VCAA Literature list. It will discuss specific strategies for success in both sections of the exam, and will unpack examples of high and middle scoring responses. Students will be made fully aware of the qualities that examiners seek to reward. The lecture will also give advice on planning exam responses, using reading time effectively and revision strategies.
Overall, students will be given detailed, practical strategies to confidently enhance their skills and therefore maximise their potential Literature exam performance, and therefore enhancing both their critically-important Literature Study Score and ATAR score.
