This lecture aims to provide students with suggestions on how to approach a range of different exam questions. The presentation will go over key knowledge and skills related to the current Visual Communication Design study design such as visual language and aesthetics, visual communication practices, professional design practice, factors that influence design and conceptions of good design as well as skills related to the design process. Common errors to avoid will be discussed as well as tips related to responding to written and practical response questions. Key terminology will also be reviewed as well as exam strategies to be mindful of. This lecture will examine example questions and responses in order to develop students’ confidence in approaching the exam.
